Lately I can't stop wondering who the real Eunice Collins is? Not the random ones on facebook who come up when I do a search for Eunice Collins. I'm looking for the Eunice that recorded this amazing cut on Mod Art in 1974.
I can't find any images of her anywhere on the net. Or any info at all really. A smooth drink who's recipe you don't quite know but badly want to drink again. So many unanswered questions. Where is she now? Did she marry and settle down? Did she ramble on from place to place never building much of a foundation at all. Like a soul version of Karen Dalton never realizing her immense potential to puppet the emotions.
Is this her only song of significance? Was she at all related to Bill Collins who worked at Mod Art?
Wherever you are Eunice I thank you and curse you since I both love your song but can't think straight at all when it is caught in my head. Ahhh Eunice you riddle you.
